17:16. அவனுக்கு உதவியாக கர்த்தருக்குத் தன்னை உற்சாகமாய் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்த சிக்ரியின் குமாரனாகிய அமசியா இருந்தான்; அவனிடத்திலே பராக்கிரமசாலிகள் இரண்டு லட்சம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

17:16. அமசியா எனும் தளபதியிடம் 2,00,000 வீரர்கள் இருந்தனர். அமசியா சிக்ரியின் மகன். அமசியா, தன்னை கர்த்தருடைய சேவையில் ஈடுபடுத்துவதில் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்தான்.

17:16. and Amasiah son of Zikri, who volunteered to serve the LORD, led 200,000 skilled warriors.

17:16. Amasiah was the general of 200,000 soldiers. Amasiah was Zicri's son. Amasiah was happy to give himself to serve the Lord.
